The sachets containing ethanol were presented by Telewizja Republika journalists in a political context. Aleksandra Prorok, in the program „Piachem w tryby”, arguing the theory of a „conspiracy”, reminded viewers of another product – – about which most people have already forgotten. „Prime Minister [Donald] Tusk happens to be in power and there are always some problems,” said the Republic journalist, stating that the outrage caused by the product with ethanol is only a „substitute topic”. „Because if it were, Prime Minister Tusk happens to be in power and there are always some problems.
